April 4, 2021 - Happy Easter

Well, life seems to be getting in the way of my blogging!!  I'm having a whole lot of fun with my PM now that the weather is so doggone nice.

We did a lot of stuff since I last posted but I've still not gotten to taste an In n Out burger.  Maybe when Aunt Vicki comes in a few weeks!

We went for lots of rides in PM's car and I really like my car seat because I can see other dogs walking and even saw a few other dogs in cars.

PM got me a trainer, Dee, who came to our house two times.  I like her but I think I'm smarter than she is. Why, you ask? Well, I don't have to do anything I don't want to and PM feeds me and takes me for walks and rides and gives me treats.  And naps!!  I take lots of naps.  Dee told PM to get this special collar to keep me from pulling on my leash but I'm not a fan.  I sometimes try to hide under the dining room table so PM can't get to me.

I met a few new four-legged friends. One was Mr. Bojangles who came with his PPs to visit a neighbor.  Mr. B is a tiny little thing and is so much fun to play with.

I try to play with him several times a day, but he doesn't live in the neighborhood and is just here for a few days.

Also, PM had a cabinet door come off and a nice man came to fix it. He let me bite him and he played with me a lot while he was here.  I hope PM breaks a lot of stuff so he can come back.

PM is now giving me a shower every Sunday. It's kind of fun but I won't let her dry me too much - I just run it off all around the house.

There are special friends I have in the neighborhood and I get to play with them when I see them.  Guthrie is my oldest friend because I met him first. He's a white schnauzer and a few years older than I am. Then, there's Mattie who is a wire haired terrier and she and I are best friends forever.  A new pug lives two doors away and her name is Sofie.  She only has one eye so we can't pay rough but we play a little and she's just precious.

The newest kid in our neighborhood is Lucia, or Lulu.  She's an old English sheepdog and Aunt Andrea and Uncle Bill rescued her in San Antonio.  She's less than a year old and had to be shaved because she was all matted and messy.  She's bigger than I am - a lot bigger - but I think we're going to be friends.

That's Lulu on top; then Mattie; and then there's me.  PM takes a ton of photographs of me so I know how to pose.  I'll have to teach Lulu and Mattie how to do that, but you can certainly see that I have some very pretty friends.

PM's going to grill a steak today so maybe she'll give me some.  Also, I think I'll be getting a homemade puppaccino today!
