Oh, my goodness, but it's been a nice April. The first several days were very windy and all that squiggly stuff fell off the big red oak tree and I did my very best to bring as much of it as I could into the house. PM wasn't too thrilled but it got in her hair too when we went for walks.
PM always takes me to the place where she gets her meals and that's fun because I get to see other people in cars and walking. She also took me to a new place - where she gets money, whatever that is. We stayed in the car and a lady talked to her but I couldn't see the lady. Then magically, money appeared so PM can buy me stuff . . . like one of those In n Out burgers. I'm still waiting. Maybe when Aunt Vicki comes they'll get some and let me taste it.
PM doesn't typically snack in front of me but one day she did, and dropped a wheat thin on her desk. Well, guess what!
I have long legs and a determined spirit!
Oh, Heaven's to Betsy! PM took me to the groomer today. I was hesitant about going into Odyessy and walked out of my collar and leash. But PM takes good care of me and caught me quickly. I didn't want her to leave me but she had to go get her second COVID vaccine and I know that's for the greater good, so I stayed.
PM picked me up and brought me home and I was SO happy to be there. I lapped up my water for about 3 hours and ate my food and then took a nap for a long time.
PM took some photos of me when I got home:
Thank God and Greyhound, my tail is still fluffy. My Aunt Vicki really likes my fluffy tail.
PM says I'm walking really well now that I've had two classes in Charm School. I get treats every time we come back into the house for walking the walk PM wants me to walk.
One day, I was able to sneak out of the house with my yellow baby. I wanted to take it for a walk with us, but PM wouldn't let me.
Aunt Vicki arrived from Hackensack, NJ on April 21 and was I ever happy to see her. She smelled exactly the same and sounded the same. PM didn't take me with her to the place where the airplanes land because I've not been on a car trip of that length, but they will take me places while Aunt Vicki is here.
I was so excited to see Aunt Vicki, I just couldn't eat my dinner but I got plenty of treats from AV.
After AV played with me for a few minutes, PM made a scrambled egg for me to add to my Instinct and I chowed that down Big Time! I love having AV here but let me tell you, she wears me out and I have to take naps.
PM had to get something from the grocery store, so she took me with her. I made AV sit in the back seat with me because I have to have her near me as much as possible.
When AV eats her breakfast, I get to have a little that's left at the bottom of her bowl. I like it!
Lauren sat at the end of PM's sofa and when she got up, I hopped into her spot because she smelled good.
Since PM and AV made Polish food, PB Steve made a Karpatka which is a cake from the Carpathian Mountains in Poland. They all said it was good but I wasn't permitted to have any because of all the butter in it.Now that I'm over seven months old and don't have any "accidents" in the house, I don't have to go into the kennel when PM and AV go out. PM puts a gate up so I can't get into the living room and the guest bedrooms, and closes the door to her bedroom. I get to look outside and see my friends walk by. I also get to scare squirrels and bunnies if they happen to set foot on our property!
