March 1, 2021 OH MY WORD!!!
I'm so very sorry I've not updated my blog in a while but I had a very traumatic second half of February.
So, I told you about the Arctic Freeze and thankfully, for my PM, no pipes froze completely. She had a little flood when the drain to the thing that washes her clothes was partially frozen. It looked like fun to me but she made me stay in our room so she could mop it up.
The weather warmed up but then on Monday, the 22nd, PM put me in my new car seat and I thought I was going to get that In n Out burger Patrick had, but NOOOOOO, she to me to my doggie doc. Everyone there is very nice and they all love me, of course, but I was there nearly all day and even though I slept through the bad part, I wanted to go home. When my PM came to get me, I had this elegantly named Elizabethan Collar on so I couldn't go after my stitches but I couldn't get comfortable so PM took it off.
She held me the rest of the day.
My doggie doc told PM that I would drool a lot because of the anesthesia and I sure did! My doggie doc not only removed my Lady Parts, he removed my baby teeth that were loose and he also flushed out my ears. PM gave me half a pain pill wrapped in peanut butter but that was all I had to eat that Monday.
On Tuesday, after a good night's sleep [and good cuddles from my PM], I felt so much better.
And I wasn't drooling any longer - well, not much. Because my doggie doc removed my baby teeth, my gums were sore so PM put warm water on my kibble for a few days. She's very good to me.
I was still tired from the ordeal and napped a lot, but not far from my PM. After all, she's my protector and even though I bite her, they're just love bites!
Aunt Vicki's granddaughter lives in Massachusetts and had a birthday on the 27th. PM and I recorded a Happy Birthday song to her which Laura liked a lot. I still haven't mastered the addition of a video, but I'll try.

You and your PM did a great job on the Happy Birthday song you sang to my granddaughter. She really enjoyed it, and I was so proud of you because you knew just when to chime in. What a great team the two of you are.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad your surgery went well and that it's over. I think you were very brave. Now because of this surgery, you know, you're not going to have any babies. But you already have two -- the striped one and the yellow fuzzy on. So I would say that's enough. I only had one baby so you are lucky to have two.
Okay, bye for now. Don't forget that I love you so much and can't wait to see you in April. Please get over the biting this by that time. I would appreciate it very much. Kisses and hugs.
