 OK, I'm late putting this together but I have a very good reason.  Actually, I have several good reasons. 

One reason is that PM took me to a place to get groomed.  It was a new place and PM was permitted to actually enter the store.  I was very nervous but PM said I looked good.  They didn't put frilly things on my ears and I smelled good.  Not that I ever smell bad, of course, but this scent was nice.  They did, however, put a soft paper bandana around my neck.  It was green which is one of PM's favorite colors but it didn't last too long.  I like to just let my natural beauty shine through.

While we were at that store, PM got me a proper car seat and now I can see out the windows, just like a real person.  PM plans on taking me on outings once this horrible weather goes away.  I'm still interested in that In n Out burger PM got for Patrick.


The week was, for the most part, uneventful.  PM had a dental appointment for a cleaning and I had to stay in my kennel while she was gone.

Then the bad weather hit on Saturday.  It was really cold and PM didn't take me on as many walks as I like, but we still did three or four big walks. Then the snow started.  I saw snow one other time and it was no big deal but this time, it was going to be fun.  PM took these photographs.  She took a video of me playing in the snow but I have to figure out how to put them on this post.  It's not easy being a puppy, but I'm smart so I'll get it sooner or later.





PM said it was going to snow all day on Valentine's Day.  Guthrie's PM and PD couldn't go anywhere so they decided to bake and brought my PM a Valentine's Day treat.


PM said it was really good but I'm not allowed to have chocolate so she let me taste a tiny bit of raspberry. I never had that before and it was pretty good.

So here it is Hump Day and it snowed again overnight.  PM took me for a couple really short walks but I really don't care about doing anything out there except run and jump and play.  I'm very confused about where to GO because I usually GO outside but it's all white and it's hard to find good scents.  PM has a place for me to GO in an area of the garage but I sometimes forget.  PM doesn't get angry because it's not my fault, really.

The weather has been COLD to boot. The other day it was minus two degrees and PM can't get water in her new bathroom sinks. We really hope it warms up above freezing but PM said probably not until Saturday.  Some of PM's friends lost power but thankfully, we didn't.

I was supposed to have a Lady's Operation yesterday but Dr. Chase's office called and postponed the procedure until February 22. PM's nervous about it but all I know is I'll get to wear a nice collar and PM will probably carry me around on a satin pillow!  And treats!  I'll get lots of treats!

    Oh Charlie, I really enjoy your blog. Please try to get the video to work, because that is the best video of you running around the back yard like a speed freak. When I watch that video, I lose my breath. I hope when this is all over and you are no longer confused that you will know to GO outside like you did before. PM of course was not angry. You are only a little puppy, and this is all so new to you. Oh, and good luck on your Lady's Operation next week. I know you will do fine, and PM will hold you and love you.  Well, May was an entirely interesting month.  Aunt Vicki was here for many days and she took good care of me.  She played with me and then I'd get tired and sleep near her in case she wanted to play again. She had a birthday on Cinqa de Mayo and PM took her to lunch with Paula [who also had her birthday on that day] and Cindi [who isn't going to be here on her 6/6 birthday].  Paula is very talented and made AV a shirt which has MY photo on it!  It's the whole truth!!  Here's PM and AV and then AV in her new shirt! March 1, 2021 OH MY WORD!!!

 I'm so very sorry I've not updated my blog in a while but I had a very traumatic second half of February. So, I told you about the Arctic Freeze and thankfully, for my PM, no pipes froze completely. She had a little flood when the drain to the thing that washes her clothes was partially frozen. It looked like fun to me but she made me stay in our room so she could mop it up.   The weather warmed up but then on Monday, the 22nd, PM put me in my new car seat and I thought I was going to get that In n Out burger Patrick had, but NOOOOOO, she to me to my doggie doc.  Everyone there is very nice and they all love me, of course, but I was there nearly all day and even though I slept through the bad part, I wanted to go home.  When my PM came to get me, I had this elegantly named Elizabethan Collar on so I couldn't go after my stitches but I couldn't get comfortable so PM took it off.  Sunday was a pretty good day.  My PM went to bring Patrick to stay at our house so I didn't mind getting in my crate for a while.  They brought me Whataburger and french fries so he's an OK guy.  They wouldn't let me have but a few fries and just a nibble of the burger but I'm sure I'll be getting more of those things. They left me for a while and went off touring but those banana yogurt doggie treats PM gives me when I get into my crate are pretty good. PM told me they went to see The Star where the Dallas Cowboys practice.  I'm glad I didn't have to go with them for that - there were too many young people there. And besides, I'm not a Cowboy fan.  I kind of like Tom Brady because he SOOOO cute.  And after all, I'm a girl!
