 WHAT A WEEK!!!  I know I'm just a puppy but I'm so happy it's Saturday so I can just rest.

On Tuesday, PM took me for a walk and halfway into the walk, two dogs got out and chased me.  I was on a leash but I was so scared and cried and cried.  In trying to get away from those mean dogs, PM's legs got tangled in my leash and she toppled over.  A nice lady ran out of her house to save me and hold me until my PM got up.  The man finally got his dogs back in the garage and we went home.  I wanted PM to carry me but I found out later she got hurt in the fall.  Her finger got messed up and looks funny - kind of like a sausage.  The next day after she got out of the shower I saw a huge, ugly bruise on her left hip.  So I'm not mad at her for not carrying me.

And to top off my week, I was supposed to have a playdate with Sadie, Paula's new Aussie-doodle. Sadie is six weeks younger and I am but had no interest in playing with me. I wore myself out and after a big walk, I dropped on my towel and tried to take a nap.  But my PM put me in my crate!!!  She had to go to the place where the airplanes land and pickup some guy named Patrick.  I've not met him yet but he'd better be nice to me to make those long hours without my PM worth it!

It was raining when I woke up this morning but I was a good girl and quickly did my business outside so my PM would be happy.  Then, after my first nap of the day, I had breakfast and we went for a nice long walk where I met Bentley, a Dalmatian, and Poppy, a sheepadoodle, and we all played.  A neighbor was having a drive-by baby shower for a friend and the front yard was filled with pink balloons which Bentley and Poppy ran through and either popped them or set them free!!  It's windy again today, so those balloons didn't ever come back to the front yard!

Hopefully, the rest of the weekend will be nice and restful.

 Well, May was an entirely interesting month.  Aunt Vicki was here for many days and she took good care of me.  She played with me and then I'd get tired and sleep near her in case she wanted to play again. She had a birthday on Cinqa de Mayo and PM took her to lunch with Paula [who also had her birthday on that day] and Cindi [who isn't going to be here on her 6/6 birthday].  Paula is very talented and made AV a shirt which has MY photo on it!  It's the whole truth!!  Here's PM and AV and then AV in her new shirt! PM had to take AV to the airport on Mother's Day but before she did, PM decided to take a tumble.  She said she was OK to drive and didn't have a headache or anything, but in a few days, she looked pretty colorful! She's much less colorful now. PM got a new kitchen table and I like it a lot because I can go under it an watch her while she eats! March 1, 2021 OH MY WORD!!!

 I'm so very sorry I've not updated my blog in a while but I had a very traumatic second half of February. So, I told you about the Arctic Freeze and thankfully, for my PM, no pipes froze completely. She had a little flood when the drain to the thing that washes her clothes was partially frozen. It looked like fun to me but she made me stay in our room so she could mop it up.   The weather warmed up but then on Monday, the 22nd, PM put me in my new car seat and I thought I was going to get that In n Out burger Patrick had, but NOOOOOO, she to me to my doggie doc.  Everyone there is very nice and they all love me, of course, but I was there nearly all day and even though I slept through the bad part, I wanted to go home.  When my PM came to get me, I had this elegantly named Elizabethan Collar on so I couldn't go after my stitches but I couldn't get comfortable so PM took it off.  Sunday was a pretty good day.  My PM went to bring Patrick to stay at our house so I didn't mind getting in my crate for a while.  They brought me Whataburger and french fries so he's an OK guy.  They wouldn't let me have but a few fries and just a nibble of the burger but I'm sure I'll be getting more of those things. They left me for a while and went off touring but those banana yogurt doggie treats PM gives me when I get into my crate are pretty good. PM told me they went to see The Star where the Dallas Cowboys practice.  I'm glad I didn't have to go with them for that - there were too many young people there. And besides, I'm not a Cowboy fan.  I kind of like Tom Brady because he SOOOO cute.  And after all, I'm a girl! When they came back, the took me for a walk around the neighborhood and Patrick got to meet Guthrie and his PD.  Guthrie is tolerating my puppyness much more now so he's fun to be around.
